I had a dream...

Happy MLK day everyone! I have the day off which in grad school means catching up on EVERYTHING! ...so please all pray that I stay on-task today!

MLK day is special for many reasons....

One of my favorite quotes for him!

It was the day Scott proposed..I always tell people that "He had a dream" ...hence the title (hence I hate saying hence)

I suppose you want the lowdown and I don't believe I've written about this yet!

Anyhooters back to the story...

I was babysitting for the family I worked for because they too had the day off.

As I am working, Scott informs me that he bought an ipod.

I proceed to get prettttty upset because he said I wouldn't get a Valentine's day present because he was saving for a ring.

I of course don't hold anything back and tell him I was irate!

He also tells me he has to meet with his group from class at the union. (I'm a bit confused, I thought it was closed since the university was)

After he is done with his "meeting", he comes over to my apartment. My roomie and I are watching the bachelor and I was being mean to Scott. My roomie is like jeeez you are in a bad mood today.

Scott leaves his coat on and I'm all "Take that off, stay awhile" (he doesn't, hint hint)

I get up to get ready for our vball game at 9:00, he follows me into my room.

He says, "you know, I love you" and I say, "yah, i need to get ready" ... he follows me into the bathroom (very romantic) ..and says, "I didn't actually have a meeting today, I went home to talk to your dad.." (then I knew) ..he was down on one knee and the rest is history...

It might not be the most romantic, but it's our story!

This happened a year and half later..woot, woot!

P.S. I have two big link-ups this week! I am super excited about: tomorrow with Whitney and Wednesday with a Girl named Gay
